“Community Transformers Group”
An evangelical group operating under the title, Community Transformers had been in touch with Mr and Mrs D Logue offering to visit this parish between 10th November and 14th November 2017. The proposed visit to include a “Spiritual Fayre”, training on intercession, training on prophetic evangelism and “loving our land” by praying around the parish during the four day visit.
There was a full and frank discussion around the issues raised by the proposed visit with the majority of elders being of the opinion that this type of event was probably more suited to a city environment than a rural parish. It was agreed that the “Spiritual Fayre” would not take place and that the remainder would be considered and finally decided upon at the meeting of Kirk Session scheduled for 25th October 2017.
A.O.C.B.
Rev C Acklam advised that he had arranged a “Care for the Family” visit for Saturday 25th November 2017. The venue is likely to be Lochgilphead Parish Church and the time 1.00 pm – to be confirmed.
The meeting was closed in prayer.
